Brush Chipper
A brush chipper is used to process tree branches and limbs into wood chips. Typically the wood chips are discharged from the chipper into a chip box on a bucket truck or chip truck for transport off site. The bucket truck or chip truck also tows the brush chipper to and from job sites.
Bucket Truck
A bucket truck is used to raise a tree trimmer into the tree canopy for either trimming or piecing down a tree being removed. Most of our bucket trucks also have a chip box to haul wood chips from the site.
Chip Truck
A chip truck’s primary purpose is transport. It is used to tow the brush chipper or a tag trailer with a skid steer to and from the job site. Chip trucks also have dump boxes for transporting wood chips or logs from job sites.
Crane Truck
The crane truck is a specialized unit equipped with a knuckle boom crane with a grapple saw attached to the end of the crane. This unit is used to remove large or hazardous trees in locations where there is not room in the immediate area to piece down or drop the tree.
Drum Mower
A drum mower can be attached to either a 4×4 wheeled machine or track machine. The drum mower is used to remove underbrush up to 6” diameter and is also used on some job sites such as land clearing sites or right-of-ways for final mulching of the site.
Excavator
An excavator is a multi-purpose machine that can be used to remove tree stumps, move trees and crane mats, or assist in building access roads.
Long Reach Excavator
The long reach excavator is a specialized unit with a longer main and jib boom than a standard excavator. Our long reach excavator has a log grapple at the end of the jib boom that is used to move crane mats or trees in wetlands or trees on hillsides.
Excavator Mower
The excavator mower is standard excavator with a drum mower attached to the jib boom that is capable of mowing brush up to 6” diameter. The excavator mower is typically used in areas where a drum mower or hydro ax can’t be used because the ground is too soft or uneven.
Hydrostumper
The hydro stumper is a track machine with a main boom that has a cutting wheel attached to the end. The hydro stumper is used to grind out tree stumps on land clearing projects and right of ways.
Jarraff
The Jarraff contains a telescoping boom with a saw blade at the end to trim trees from ground to sky along a right of way.
Mini Skid Steer
The mini skid steer is used in residential areas because of its compact size and minimal ground disturbance. The mini skid steer greatly reduces manual labor for crews and is used to move tree branches and logs on job sites in tight areas. A dirt bucket can also be attached to the machine to complete dirt work.
Root Rake
The root rake is used to scrape the ground of branches and debris during final clean up. It can be mounted to a skid steer or track machine.
Skidder
The skidder is a 4×4 wheeled machine that articulates at the center and has a log grapple at the back of the machine. The skidder is used to move bundles of trees or logs across the jobsite to the processing area. The skidder also has a blade on the front of it for pushing trees and logs into piles or minor ground leveling.
Stump Grinder
The stump grinder is used in residential areas or on small land clearing sites to grind out tree stumps.
Track Buncher
A track buncher is a multi-purpose unit that can be used to cut down trees or assist in building crane mat roads. This unit is able to cut on flat ground or on hillsides because of the self-leveling capabilities of the machine.
Track Chipper
The Track Chipper is a wood chipper mounted on a self-propelled track system and has a self-loading grapple setup. The track chipper is used to chip trees and brush along right of ways or on land clearing projects.
Track Machine
The track machine is similar to a skid steer but has either a rubber or metal track system instead of wheels. The track machine is typically used to power a drum mower for mowing underbrush or a log grapple for moving trees or logs.
Wheel Loader
The wheel loader is used to move stacks of crane mats across sites where access roads are constructed and unload crane mats from trailers.
Wheeled Buncher
The wheel feller buncher is a 4×4 wheeled machine that articulates as a continuous saw head at the end of the machine also known as “hot saw.” The wheeled feller buncher is used on land clearing sites and is capable of cutting 4-5 acres of trees per day.
